ORGANISATIONAL CONTEXT

The CRSA vision is to provide excellence in cancer care and to bring people together through innovation, research, leadership and collaboration. CRSA was conceptualised and brought to fruition by a team of medical oncologists who practice at a number of private and public hospitals in Adelaide. Our aim is to provide compassionate, state-of-the-art care for the cancer patient of today, and undertake ongoing advancements in the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure of cancer in the future. We seek to accomplish this through research, education and clinical practice. Access to clinical trials is the cornerstone of oncology care, and it is the hope of CRSA that every South Australian affected by cancer has an opportunity to discuss and participate in a clinical trial.

The fulfilment of our mission will be measured by the satisfaction of patients, positive outcomes from treatment, improved access for patients to clinical trials, the dedication of our staff, and the success of our research and education programs.
