About the role

  • $125,256 - $133,798 + 11.5% super + 17.5% annual leave loading

Working as one of four Managers within the Government Relations, Policy and Evidence Directorate, this role is responsible for leading Our Watch work building, testing, using and evaluating primary prevention evidence, as well as Directorate reporting. You will lead our strategic approach to evidence to prevent violence against women, engage governments, policy makers, researchers, etc. to contribute to primary prevention. This role is a Manager level and will be empowered to work autonomously however, as with any government, policy, evidence and reporting role that has key stakeholders, there are approval processes for work relevant to the level of risk.

About you

You will be an experienced leader who supports knowledge sharing and influences effective policy and decision-making. You will have experience in primary prevention and will be committed to knowledge translation and considering the ways in which Our Watch can work with governments and others to drive understanding of primary prevention and evidence based decision-making. You will also have experience in reporting to government on large projects. Key to the success of this role will be the ability to develop strong, collaborative relationships with other Managers and teams within the GRPE Directorate and across Our Watch.
