Program Manager - Agile - Research - Federal Government

One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage a highly skilled Program Delivery Manager to oversee the planning, execution and management of multiple complex projects. You will also be responsible for developing the core program artefacts that help support the Project Managers. The role can be based in Canberra, Adelaide or Melbourne with the successful Program Delivery Manager to be offered a 12 month contract with 2 X 6 month extension options.  

The successful Program Delivery Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Planning and designing the program as well as proactively monitoring its progress
• Supporting the Organisational Change Manager to define, develop and implement fit for purpose Change Management  
• Leading multiple Project Managers to deliver capability
• Evaluating and managing program risk and governance

The successful Program Delivery Manager will have experience in the following:

• Experience managing projects and program budgets within a certain timeframe
• Familiarity with various Project Management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum and Waterfall
• Strong experience presenting to Executive Sponsors and Stakeholders
• Ability to manage Quality Assurance and overall integrity of programs/projects
