Clinical Research Coordinator
In this foundational role, you will work with senior nursing, medical, and allied health staff to develop and deliver the research mentoring program. You will create opportunities for nurses and midwives to generate new knowledge and translate evidence to create meaningful patient outcomes. In this role, you will be working closely with international research leaders and supported by university and clinical leadership and the Australasian Nursing and Midwifery Clinical Trials Network.
Employment Type: Temporary Part Time until 30 June 2025 (with possibility of ongoing employment)
Position Classification: Clinical Nurse Specialist (Grade 2)
Remuneration: $57.11 - $58.99 per hour

What you'll be doing
The Translation Research Specialist is a member of the Nursing and Midwifery Research Centre team responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the NSLHD Nursing and Midwifery Research Mentoring Program.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners' Regulation Authority (AHPRA) with post registration qualification relevant to the speciality and at least 3 years experience working in the clinical area of the post graduate qualification or such other qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
- Experience or evidence of engagement in the development, delivery, and evaluation of research or education activity.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate with senior clinicians, managers, and executives.
- Demonstrated capacity for leadership and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a commitment to excellence in nursing practice and research.
