We now have an opportunity for a Clinical Trial Coordinator to join the Cancer Trial Unit based at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital on a full-time basis.

Your Role in Our Future
As a Clinical Trial Coordinator, you will be a key member of the broader project operations team, responsible for overseeing the coordination and implementation of multiple clinical trials within our Cancer Trials Unit. You will collaborate closely with sponsors, consultants, and investigators to ensure the timely distribution of study-related documentation and keep all stakeholders informed of project updates and milestones. Another part of your role will be to provide leadership to a small team of Senior Clinical Trial Assistants ensuring daily resources are allocated appropriately to support business objectives.

The job description will provide you with more information however, some of your duties will include;

  • Provide operational support for the day-to-day execution of clinical trials in particularly provider leadership support to Senior Clinical Trial Assistants.
  • Ensure study specific information is communicated effectively and professionally amongst all stakeholders including sponsors, patients and internal teams.
  • Assist with the creation of study-specific manuals, tools, and templates to be used internally and shared with external stakeholders.
  • Participate with the on-boarding and training of new staff and provide ongoing support and effective communication with direct reports.

This role will be based at our Advanced Clinical Trial Centre at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and will be offered on a full-time basis for 12 months in the first instance.

Your Experience

To be successful in this role, your application must be able to demonstrate your ability to provide high level coordination to support the successful deliver of multiple studies or projects ideally from within the clinical trial, health or medical industry.
Along with this, the preferred applicant will also be able to demonstrate the following;

  • Experience in a clinical trial environment (desirable) or patient facing or healthcare relate role
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple and competing deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within standards, procedures, and regulations.
  • Demonstrated high level of professionalism to establish and maintain both internal and external relationships.
