 Clinical Research Nurse (Registered Nurse)

Key responsibilities

  • Assisting in the coordination and supervision of staff and participants within the clinical unit
  • Ensuring procedures and guidelines are conducted to industry standards
  • Administering Investigational Products, prescription and medications
  • Providing general nursing care, monitoring patient’s well-being and taking appropriate action when necessary
  • Conduct procedures such as vital signs, ECG’s, blood collection, blood processing and data collection
  • When required, acting as the nurse in charge and working within a higher scope of practice

Requirements

  • Registered Division 1 Nurse with APRHA (no restrictions)
  • 2 years minimum post graduate experience in an acute care setting
  • Enthusiastic, driven, positive and highly motivated
  • Must have excellent time management skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively with participants and other health care professionals
  • Able to work independently and effectively in a team
  • Maintain a professional level of confidentiality
  • Availability to commit to morning, afternoon and night shifts across a rotating 7-day roster
  • Able to commit to a minimum of 3 shifts per week
