Funding totalling $7.4 million has been awarded to 18 research teams under the National Health and Medical Research Council’s (NHMRC) Development Grants scheme.

 

The grants will support development work at the early proof-of-principle or pre-seed stage undertaken on products, processes, techniques or procedures arising from fundamental biomedical research which have commercial potential.

 

They are for amounts of up to $663,390 in support of projects with budgets as large as $7.4 million.
