The Universities of Queensland, Newcastle, Monash and Western Australia have committed to a joint venture in the foundation of the International Energy Centre (IEC) to be opened by 2012.

 

The Centre will offer a Masters of Energy Studies to be started by February 2012 in Brisbane.

 

The IEC  will follow the model of the International Water Centre, which is a consortium established by the universities of Queensland, Griffith, Monash and Western Australia.

 

IEC works closely with its industry and academic partners to develop an innovative, high-value program that meets the needs of its international students and stakeholders.
