Dementia studies funded
More funds have been provided for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of dementia.
The Federal Government has announced it will provide $185 million over the next decade for more investigations.
One of the projects to receive the funding is a Queensland study using ultrasound to treat Alzheimer's disease.
Health Minister Greg Hunt says it will be awarded $10 million to continue the exciting work.
About 420,000 Australians currently live dementia, with no cure available yet.
